Thousands celebrate National Day of Prayer in Mexico

Entire families gathered in Mexico City to celebrate the National Day of Prayer. The event took place in the Zócalo of the city.

Everyone is welcome to this great event that aims to unite thousands of believers concentrated in one place in prayer.

Pastor Benjamín Lomelí has headed the organization of this event for more than a decade. Families, children, youth, people of all ages, as well as from different parts of the country, come together with different prayer requests.

About a thousand volunteers are those who support this day in Mexico City, so that the National Day of Prayer takes place. All with one goal, to pray to God for the safety of Mexico.

Prayer works miracles, and we can verify that with the results… “Taking over the Zócalo of the capital at this time is very significant, symbolic and also very important spiritually. This is the twelfth year of the National Day of Prayer for Mexico. Thank God we believe that the defense of the family was a great victory, that is a fundamental prayer, let us not lose sensitivity, it is a call to exalt the name of the Lord, and the purpose is that we come here and that the people who see us and authorities at all levels, see that there is a people that exalts the name of the Lord, and that is prayed for them as the Scripture says, so that they govern with equity and justice, and that prayer makes these people with authority recognize that God He put them there, and when they recognize that, I see it, they say thank you, Pastor, for that prayer, because we need God to lead us,” said Pastor Lomelí.
