Often a large number of Catholics pray prayers to Saint Rita and, in most cases, they do so in the form of triduumthat is, raising a prayer for three consecutive days to this wonderful Saint.
Our proposal:
In the days following the feast of Santa Rita (May 22), we invite you to pray these short but effective prayers to show your thanks to the Lord for the favors and graces granted through the powerful intercession of Santa Rita.
And why not go further, thanking you in advance for the answers that you haven’t had yet, but that you know you will get?
If you dare, every day you can pray:
๐ A prayer in honor of Saint Rita
๐ฟ The responsory prayer sent by the Monastery
๐๐ป The final prayer, short and effective
A little more about the Monastery
This triduum presents several reflections of the Augustinian Nuns of the Monastery of Santa Rita of Cascia, in Italy. It was in this monastery where Saint Rita lived for 40 years.
A story that happened there
Tradition tells that, shortly after she was a novice, the mother superior asked Rita to water a dry plant what was in the garden. Rita humbly obeyed, drawing water from the well. Thus, one day, God transformed the dry plant into a lush vine๐ฑ.
