CHRISTIANNEWS.COM- Tropical storm Karl advances slowly towards the southern coast of the Gulf of Mexico, and although it is not expected to become a hurricane, Meteorologists warned of the danger of flash floods and landslides, caused by heavy rainfall, in the region.
It is predicted that the phenomenon lose strength, before its eye touches land, in the states of Veracruz or Tabascothis Friday night, or early Saturday, reports The San Diego Union Tribune.
At dawn this Friday, Karl had sustained winds of 65 kilometers per hour (40 mph)as reported by the National Hurricane Center of the United States (NHC for its acronym in English).
The vortex of the storm was located, about 130 kilometers (80 miles) north-northeast of Cuidad del Carmen, and proceed in a southeasterly directionat 11 km/h (7 mph), they detailed.
