Two divergent programs
Program to NOT be a saint:
- Don’t think that holiness is for you. It’s only for the chosen ones!
- Don’t pray. You don’t have free time!
- Don’t try to be “good.” They will take you for a fool!
- Do not go to confession often. You don’t steal or kill!
- Don’t examine your conscience. That’s traumatizing!
- Do not take spiritual direction. You know how to steer yourself!
- Don’t do God’s will. Make yours!
- Don’t count on the Virgin. Christ is enough!
- Don’t pray the rosary. It does not take and bores!
- Do not trust in the Heart of Jesus. It’s pious thing!
- Don’t talk about God. You have to respect non-believers!
- Don’t pray for sinners. Nobody goes to hell!
- Don’t worry the devil. He’s harmless, if he even exists!
- Do not defend the rights of God. You have to be tolerant!
- Communion not often. It’s a drag to go to confession before!
- Don’t read the Bible. Read current books!
Program to be holy:
- On Sundays and holidays, the first thing: mass. Then EVERYTHING else!
- Take care of your soul first. You will have time to take care of your body!
- Don’t be afraid to die. The resurrection has been promised to you by Jesus Christ.
- You need to go to church, there you receive light and strength by praying and receiving communion.
- Get involved in your parish. Jesus, the brothers and the poor need you.
- Forgive from the heart who offends you. Resentment is not Christian.
- If you sin, do not justify yourself. She seeks God’s forgiveness and keeps walking.
- Help the poor. Don’t let your right know what your left is doing!
- Do not forget your condition and dignity as a Christian. You are God’s adopted child.
- Do not curse the darkness. Light your match and shine a little light around.
- Purpose: Not a day without doing a good deed for your neighbor.
- Jesus Christ, the friend who does not fail. Trust in Him with all your soul.
