This week a discussion arose on social networks about the similarity of the monument, “Guardian of international peace and security”, with the text of Revelation 13: 2, which reads: “The beast that I saw was like a leopard, but it had feet like those of a bear and a lion’s mouth. The dragon gave the beast his power, his throne and great authority.
The guardian, which was installed outside the UN, was donated by the government of Oaxaca, Mexico. The monument is an “alebrije,” a type of handicraft popular in Mexico, Guiame reports.
“The guardian is a fusion of jaguar and eagle, as they are strong and very representative animals in our pre-Hispanic and national history,” explained the UN Mission in Mexico, through Twitter.
For Chilean missionary Vergara, the moment could be one of the “signs of the antichrist” mentioned in Revelation 13:2.
“How crazy, but it is not a coincidence! And it’s happening right now, right before your eyes. The Antichrist already has a seat within the UN. He already manifests himself offering peace to the world! If he doesn’t believe it, wait! So do you still doubt that Christ is at the door?” he asked in an Instagram post.
He even gave an answer to the most skeptical: “Whatever the UN supports, question it! Be it health, social or whatever! If they support you, know that it is not in your favor, a follower of Christ,” he stated.
