CHRISTIANNEWS.COM.- A woman named Marjorie recounted her testimony on the “700 Club Interactive” program about how she overcame cancer through an encounter with the Lord.
In 2012, the woman received the news that doctors had to remove her right upper lobe and half lung to stop the cancer.
Marjorie and her husband prayed for the operation to be successful, but there was a new problem, the cancer was not staying in the place indicated by the doctors, but in her ribs.
The doctors removed a rib from Marjorie to study it, and this caused her excruciating pain.
The studies showed that the woman had mesenchymal chondrosarcoma, a rare cancer that has no established way to treat it, so the doctors chose to use radiation and chemotherapy.
Marjorie was afraid of undergoing chemotherapy, however, she had to face it with faith.
“I was listening to the Word and doing everything I could to try and stay encouraged. I made a decision: I will fight, I will fight the fight of faith,” Marjorie said.
Marjorie underwent daily radiation treatment, followed by intensive chemotherapy that nearly left her in a coma. Even her doctor told her that the chemotherapy could have killed her.
Faith
Marjorie was visited by God while she was in the hospital compound. The woman told her that the Lord told her, “You can die and come home with me, or you can choose life and live.” However, the woman expressed that she did not want to leave her husband and her children, so she told the Lord that she wanted to continue living.
The woman said on the show that she felt a supernatural manifestation in her body and then felt healed.
The woman stated that she and her husband decided to stop chemotherapy treatment. Marjorie’s doctor told her that if she didn’t keep treating herself she had a 0% chance of living.
When the woman went for her first checkup, it was negative for cancer. Further tests were then performed which determined that she was free of the disease.
In 2018, Marjorie had her last checkup, which was also negative. The woman assures that this only happened thanks to God.
Marjorie said on the show that the sick need to declare God’s Word over them and declare healing.
