NOTCIACRISTIANA.COM.- The most influential Christian leaders in the United States they are inviting 1 million people to a call to fast and pray for a spiritual awakening, at the beginning of each year of this decade.
The call aims to call young people and is part of a campaign called: “Roaring Twenties.”
The purpose of this prayer call is to make it happen a new and great awakening in the United States and in all the nations of the world, showing hope in the face of bitter divisions and political turmoil on every continent.
The Christian Post, interviewed the pastor of the Kansas City Church in Pleasant Ridge, Malachi O’Brien, and one of the organizing leaders for this call, said in his statements that there are prophecies that God will do great things on earth over the next decade.
The pastor feels there is a direct correlation between the 1920s and the 2020s. So many things politically, spiritually, and economically.
The decade started in one way and ended in a very different way.”said O’Brien.
Brands a new generation
“The Lord wants to mark a new generation, mark them with a spiritual hunger and thirst, so that they don’t rest in what we can do when we have big meetings in the stadium or when we do big events, but that they realize that it is not because of the power not by power, but by his Spirit. And to know that there is something powerful that happens when we really consecrate ourselves to a place of fasting and prayer,” added the pastor.
The Lord put the feeling in the life of O’Brien to do the call of 1 million young people to fast and pray for the next decade, especially considering how prayer has shaped the last few decades.
Many leaders, churches and the pastoral body join this spiritual call to seize the weapons that God left in the fight against the evil one.
In history we have seen how God shows his move and power when there is this type of action at the level of continents through prayer.
