In 1843, this little chapel became small, as the fame of the miracles spread faster and faster and brought more and more people to pray in front of the image. Constantino and Rosa found a solution to donate land that they owned, mainly in gratitude for all the blessings they had already received from the Divine Eternal Father. Once again, the population came together to help build a larger chapel on the banks of the Barro Preto stream.

With the growth of devotion, Constantine wanted to restore the image but as he was very humble he looked for a local artist and in exchange for the restoration he offered all his money and his only horse.
