Christian prayer with creation – Pope Francis
We praise you, Father, with all your creatures, who came out of your powerful hand. They are yours, and they are full of your presence and your tenderness. Praise You. Son of God, Jesus, for you were all things created. You were formed in the womb of Mary, you became part of this land, and you looked at this world with human eyes. Today you are alive in every creature with your risen glory. Praise You. Holy Spirit, who with your light directs this world towards the love of the Father and accompanies the groan of creation, you also live in our hearts to impel us to good. Praise You. Lord One and Three, precious community of infinite love, teach us to contemplate you in the beauty of the universe, where everything tells us about you. Arouse our praise and our gratitude for each being you have created. Give us the grace to feel intimately united with everything that exists. God of love, show us our place in this world as instruments of your love for all beings on this earth, because none of them is forgotten before you. He enlightens the owners of power and money so that they guard against the sin of indifference, love the common good, promote the weak, and take care of this world we inhabit. The poor and the earth are crying out: Lord, take us with your power and your light, to protect all life, to prepare a better future, so that your Kingdom of justice, peace, love and beauty may come. Praise You. Amen.
