Evening Prayer for August 28

My Lord, faithful shepherd of love, one more day is about to end and I want to seal it with this face-to-face conversation, to be the last thing I do on this dark night. Today I had a very hard day, for which I want to thank you, because you were present in everything I did, covering me with your protection so that I can leave and return home safely and away from street danger.

God of peace, tonight I thank you for allowing me to achieve everything I set out to do, because it was under your divine providence. Thank you very much also for the experiences I lived, always help me to be able to reach your intelligence to be able to learn from all those moments and always live under your will, which is always the most ideal.

Thank you for the home that I have, my God, for the people who inhabit it, who fill my life completely, and make it possible for us to stay united through prayer, love and empathy.

Thank you very much because you allow us to have the just and necessary on our table, for the clothing that we have that protects our bodies on a daily basis. Help me my God, to always value and be grateful for everything you offer me.

I would like tonight, that you can cover my life with your mercy completely. Give me a restful sleep, which helps me get up with greater conviction and more encouragement to do everything I have planned.

Take away all the worries that fill my thoughts with evil, help me to rest in You please. So that the next day I can wake up restored in body and soul, free from all sin and from all stains that plunge me into indignity.

I ask you in a special way, for all the people who are living the same as me or perhaps feel worse, to give them a restful rest and heal all the wounds in their hearts. Encourage their lives so that this new one to come they see it as a great opportunity to love each other and love you.

Lord of my life I give myself to your mercy, I place everything that I have asked you from my heart so that it can be taken within what your will wants and thus I can gradually achieve everything that my heart longs for. I love you my Father, and I proclaim it always in the name of Jesus, Amen.
