Precious and adored Lord, a new day you give me, I open my eyes and I can see the sunlight announcing the beautiful morning that you prepared for all your children. How beautiful it is to know that I am a child of yours, how beautiful it is to be able to feel that warmth that only You radiate with your love, with your presence flooding this day that rises in the sky.
I don’t want to start my day without first appearing before You, good Father, because there are so many things I want to tell You, so many things I want to give You to start my day off, knowing that You sustain me. There is so much I want to thank you too, that words fail me to proclaim your greatness and say that you alone are the God of victory.
First of all I want to thank you, Almighty Lord, for the care you have with me, thank you my good Lord, because you give me a beautiful family, which although it is not perfect and there are always problems, I know that I can count on them unconditionally. Thank you so much for giving me a home, my God, for putting bread on my table and because you never stop providing each and every one of our needs.
On this new day that begins, I want to put my whole life in your hands, Lord, the life of all the people I love and of all those around me, so that it is You, with your powerful hand, who guides our steps and guides us along the correct and safe path, where You are the only way, the only means to reach salvation.
Take my heart this day, Holy Lord, take my illusions, my goals, those dreams for which I fight daily, and those for which I still do not dare to work, so that I can have the necessary wisdom that comes from You and thus make the best decisions, to work, to get ahead for me and all mine and so I can fulfill all my obligations on this day, God of my life.
You know my needs Lord, what worries me so much and everything that causes me anguish and despair, please grant me the possibility of emerging victorious and triumphant from every obstacle that is put in my way, that I do not lose faith, but rather, that it be restored by your Divine grace and your blessed mercy.
Keep me on this day, good Father, from all the dangers of the world, of conflicts, fights and misunderstandings, help me to overcome the difficulties that come my way; economic, labor or even health difficulties. Wrap me with your love, beloved Lord and fill me with your blessing.
In this prayer, blessed heavenly Father, I offer you a prayer also for all those who suffer, for abandoned children, for people in need, and for all the people who work hard every day to bring bread to their home, please, my God, help them in their need, do not leave them alone for a moment and hug them with your love, peace and much hope.
Thank you for hearing my prayer, Lord, for always being attentive to my plea. Guide me on this day, my beloved Father, because every minute, every second, I know that You go with me, in front of me, as a protective shield, watching over my well-being and giving me the opportunity to get ahead. I ask you for all this and I thank you in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
