Padre Pio Prayer

For Saint Paul tells us: “Pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” (1 Thessalonians 5:17 – 18).

“O Christ, your kingdom is near; make us participate in your triumph on earth so that we can have part of your heavenly kingdom.

Grant us the grace to be able to communicate your love and announce your divine kingship by the example of our lives and by our works.

Take possession of our hearts here below, so that they are yours for eternity.

Do not allow us to move away from your will: that neither life nor death manage to separate us from you.

May our hearts have their source in you, our savior, so that, satiated with your love, we may become tireless apostles of your kingdom.

That every day we die to ourselves, to live only from you.

Prayer to the guardian angels

Padre Pio used to pray every day for his guardian angel and thank this daily companion in charge of watching over us.

“Holy Guardian Angel, protect my soul and my body.

light up my mind

to know the Lord better

and love him with all my heart.

assist me in my prayers

so you don’t give in to distractions

and pay the greatest attention.

Help me with your advice

so that he sees the good and fulfills it with generosity.

Defend me from the snares of the infernal enemy,

sustain me in temptations

so that you will always be able to beat them.

Supplant, eliminate my coldness in the worship of the Lord:

do not stop attending to my custody

until you take me to paradise,

where we will praise the Good God together for all eternity.”

Prayer to the Holy Sacrament of Padre Pio

“My Lord Jesus Christ, who are day and night in this Sacrament full of mercy and love, waiting, calling and welcoming all those who come to visit you! I believe that you are present in the Sacrament of the Altar. I adore you from the abyss of my nothingness and I thank you for all the graces you have granted me; especially that of having given yourself to me in this Sacrament, that of having given me your Most Holy Mother Mary as your lawyer and that of having called me to visit you in this church. I greet your beloved heart and I understand to greet it for three purposes:

first in thanksgiving for this great gift;

second, to repair all the injuries you have received from all your enemies in this Sacrament;

Third, with this visit I intend to adore you in all the places on earth where You, Sacramented, are less revered and more abandoned.

My Jesus, I love you with all my heart. I regret having offended your Infinite Goodness during my past life. I propose, with your grace, not to offend you anymore and now, miserable as I am, I consecrate myself to you, I give you and renounce my will, I give you all my affections, my desires and all my things. From now on, do with me and everything that is mine what you please; I only ask and wish for your holy love, final perseverance and the perfect fulfillment of your holy will.

I recommend the souls in purgatory, especially the most devoted to the most holy sacrament and to the Blessed Virgin Mary. I also recommend you to all poor sinners. One, finally, my beloved Savior, all the affections of your most loving heart and thus reunited I offer them to your eternal Father, and to Him I pray in your name that for your love he accepts and blesses them. Amen”

“Wait on the Lord, do good and you will inhabit the earth.

And you will be satisfied with its riches.

Delight yourself in the Lord and He will fulfill the desires of your heart,
