Prayer from Psalm 110 – Jehovah gives dominion to the king (Explanation)

In the psalm 110 it is requested that the Lord be at the right hand, until the enemies fall on the stand at his feet. Let him send from Zion the rod of his power, and subdue any adversary. He is spoken of as the people will volunteer to him.

It is mentioned how he will judge between the nations, and will fill them with corpses, breaking heads in many lands. He is recognized as an all-powerful being, who has great ability to overpower any other creature on earth. And, for this, he must be believed and praised. So that he stays with us.

🙏Prayer Psalm 110🙏

Jehovah said to my Lord:
sit at my right hand
until I make your enemies your footstool.

Jehovah will send from Zion the rod of your power;
Dominate in the midst of your enemies.

Your people will offer themselves willingly on the day of your power,
in the beauty of holiness;
since the dawn of dawn,
you have the dew of your youth.

Jehovah swore and will not repent:
You are a priest forever
according to the order of Melchizedek.

The Lord is at your right hand;
He will destroy kings in the day of his wrath.

He will judge between the nations;
he will fill them with corpses;
He will break the rulers in many lands.

He will drink from the brook along the way,
for which he will raise his head.
