Holy Father who governs the universe, I implore You in prayer to listen to me and in your immense mercy receive my prayers. Because powerful is your advice and in it is the key that will free us from sin. Receive me, Lord.
My God, I have been a victim of my own emotions, my human nature subjects me to anxiety and haste. Impatience has led me down the wrong paths to yours and I was fragile when it came to containing myself, when it came to following your wonderful plans.
Father, in your infinite goodness that looks at us, you know better than me how much I suffer from my own despair. How much I regret the absence of earthly things, as if the mere light of your presence was not enough for me. We have made your world a place where speed prevails and your teachings go astray. We sin, Father, and for that reason I return to You.
I return to glorify your name and pray for my transformation. Because it is my own anxiety that harms mine and prevents us from progressing. Be free and safe. I am part of the problem and I transmit it and I know that in this way I do not collaborate with your designs. Because in the little serenity you will never be able to clean us, Lord, I will never be able to hear your voice clearly.
Therefore, Almighty God, You who decide the movements of the planets and the color of the days, listen to this humble sinner, who longs to follow your paths. Give me the patience necessary to be worthy of your light and imitate you. To wait for the blessing that will only come from You.
Teach me your serenity, Father, but also restore calm to the world, yours from its beginning to the end that You decide. Cleanse him of that fury that permeates everything and returns to him the moments of peace and contemplation, for many, lost.
I am aware of my sins and my own absurd need for answers. Even today I can hear the echo of my claims for what has not been achieved, and God, You who clearly observe my soul, know how ashamed I feel, but you also see there the definitive encouragement that motivates me to be reborn under your peace.
Father, thank you, because even that encouragement belongs to you. Thank you because in this way you demonstrate the immense patience you have with us, your children. And by the hand you lead us to You. Your perfection is the way, divine Master, thank you for your mercy.
Blessed be your love for the creation that you have conceived and that you protect without asking for anything in return. Praised be your name, almighty God. Glory to You, Lord.
May your mercy always be glorified, which I invoke today so that you renew in me the gift of patience and make this humble sinner a servant who serenely follows the plans that You have traced me.
